At 97 compression and 5 layers, the TP5x is built for players who swing fast enough to compress a firmer ball and want the distance that comes with it. It plays noticeably harder than the TP5, which reads as lower feel to some and better energy transfer to others. The 322-dimple count is identical to the TP5 so dispersion characteristics are similar, but this ball rewards higher clubhead speed and punishes soft-handed players who never fully load it.
