TaylorMade TP5 (2021)

The 2021 TP5 was TaylorMade's update to a 5-piece ball that had already earned consistent marks in independent testing for short-game spin and mid-range distance. Compression 83 makes this the softer of the two TP5 options and accessible to a wider swing speed range than the TP5x. The 2024 TP5 updated the core construction but kept the same cast urethane cover and 322-dimple pattern, so the performance gap between the 2021 and current versions is narrower than the price gap on secondary markets. Sealed boxes of the 2021 generation regularly clear quality checks and provide an entry into tour-level ball performance without current retail pricing.
