TaylorMade Stealth
iron|2022
Caddyroom Take
The 2022 Stealth irons were TaylorMade's follow-up to the SIM2 Max with a slightly tighter profile and less offset, which made them more appropriate for a wider handicap range without giving up meaningful forgiveness. ZATECH steel in the body provided a stiffer frame than the SIM2 Max's CAP back, and the Echo Damping System remained to control the feedback from the hollow design. The 4.10mm offset and 28-degree 7-iron loft position this between a pure GI iron and a players-distance iron on the spectrum. For a used buyer moving from a pure GI set who wants to test a more neutral offset, the Stealth irons are a useful next step at secondary market pricing.
