Twelve degrees of bounce is high for a 56-degree. On firm turf or a tight lie the leading edge will bounce into the equator of the ball. Players who play primarily on courses with soft, receptive turf or who consistently take deep divots will find this the most consistent sand wedge option; players in drier climates should step down to 8 or 10 degrees of bounce.
