The Shot Scope X5 is the most thorough automatic shot-tracking system you can wear. Sixteen RFID tags screw into the grip end of each club, and the watch reads them to record which club you hit, where from, and where it finished, with about 94 percent accuracy at separating real shots from practice swings. Post-round you get more than 100 statistics including Strokes Gained, with no subscription. The 1.2-inch touchscreen at 43mm is a standard sport-watch form. GPS battery covers about two rounds. Screwing in 16 tags takes 15 minutes once and stays done, and the payoff is the deepest per-shot database here without a separate device.
