The Phantom X 5 is a 360g mallet at 3.5 degrees of loft with a single-bend shaft that positions the face slightly forward of the hands at address. Single-bend neck geometry produces moderate to low toe hang, which works for players with a slight arc rather than a pure straight-through stroke. At 360g it is a heavier head than the Odyssey mallets listed here, which translates to less manipulation required through impact on short putts.
