The Approach S70 is Garmin's current premium golf watch: a 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 43,000 preloaded courses, 20 hours of GPS battery, and a Virtual Caddie that factors dispersion, elevation, wind, and your club history into each number. The 47mm case wears large at 56 grams, but the AMOLED is the clearest on-course screen here in full sun. Slope-adjusted plays-like distances come without a separate device. Shot tracking is automatic and tagless, which is convenient but less precise than the RFID systems Shot Scope uses. The Garmin Golf app unlocks the green mapping and slope features.
