Garmin Approach S62

The Approach S62 is the S70's predecessor and stays in the lineup at a lower price. Its 1.3-inch color touchscreen is not AMOLED, which makes it easier to read in bright sun than a reflective LCD but dimmer than the S70 head to head. With 41,000 courses, Virtual Caddie, and plays-like distance it carries the intelligent features that sit above the S44. Battery is 20 hours in GPS mode, matching the S70 47mm. The missing AMOLED and ceramic bezel are the two visible trade-downs, and for a player who wants Virtual Caddie at a reduced price the S62 is the honest used-market alternative to buying new.
