Callaway Mavrik
driver|2020
Caddyroom Take
The Mavrik was Callaway's first driver to use an AI-designed face, a process that produced 15 unique face geometries across the Mavrik family to match specific swing profiles. The standard Mavrik was the mid-launch option between the Mavrik Max (draw-biased, higher MOI) and the Mavrik Sub Zero (low spin, lower CG). OptiFit hosel adjustment covered a plus-2 to minus-1 degree range in two directions. At used market pricing 5-plus years after launch the Mavrik is one of the better-value options in the 2020 driver tier because supply is high and the face design was genuinely above average for its release year. The gap to current Paradym-generation drivers is real but modest in terms of average driving distance.
